New Hope Church was born out of a simple conviction: that church should be the most welcoming place on earth. What began as a small gathering of friends in Cape Town — people who were hungry for something real but didn't quite fit the mould — has grown into a thriving community of families, dreamers, and seekers across the city.

We started small. There were no microphones, no stage, no programmes — just people sharing a meal, reading the Bible together, and figuring things out as we went. Word spread not through slick advertising, but through the kind of genuine community that people couldn't help but talk about. Neighbours invited neighbours. Friends brought friends. The family grew.

Today, New Hope has multiple locations across Cape Town and beyond, each with its own campus pastor and personality. While every campus has a distinctive flavour, they all share the same heartbeat: an unwavering commitment to Jesus, His word, and His people. We believe that the local church is the hope of the world.

The Next, our Century City location, launched as the newest expression of that vision — reaching a growing community in the heart of the city's business district. It's a church for people who might not darken the door of a traditional church, but who are curious about what following Jesus actually looks like in the real world.

We're still a family in progress. Still learning, still growing, still becoming the people God is calling us to be. And there's always room for one more.
